Corruption Perception Index (CPI) 2020

Based on the figures of the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) scores, which Transparency International publishes every year, here is the decade’s trend of the corruption in Nepal from 2004 to 2020. Global Corruption Barometer Asia 2020

The Global Corruption Barometer Asia 2020 report by Transparency International focuses on citizens’ views and experiences of corruption in Asia. 20,000 survey respondents shared that government corruption is a big problem in their country, and 1 out of 5 people who used public services in the
previous 12 months paid a bribe.

Diagnostic Study on Local Governance in Federal Nepal 2017

This study assesses whether the trajectory of the transition is leading to a functional and effective local governance system in Nepal. The study was implemented by The Asia Foundation with the support from the Australian Government-The Asia Foundation Partnership on Subnational Governance in Nepal.

Governance and Institutional Risks and Challenges in Nepal

This ADB report examines the evolving institutional arrangements, challenges, and governance risks for the sectors in which ADB operates. It also identifies potential reform measures that ADB could support to help address these governance risks.
